Described as "nothing short of electrifying" by the Toronto Star, the New Orford String Quartet will open the Jeffery Concerts' season. In partnership with the Pacifica String Quartet, these two wonderful ensembles will present the complete Beethoven String Quartets over the next two years.

Janáček: The Diary of One Who Disappeared

Janáček's rarely performed song cycle, The Diary of One Who Disappeared, will be dramatized by well-known mezzo-soprano Krisztina Szabó, tenor Benjamin Butterfield, pianist Arthur Rowe, and three female voices. The second half of the concert will feature Ms. Szabó singing the Brahms' Zigeunerlieder Op. 103 and selections from Carmen.
